As part of reconstructing lost spaces, I researched on one of the iconic public school in New York (PS 23) which burned down unexpectedly. With technology, and archive materials, I was able to reconstruct and reimagine what this space could look like.

The image on the left is a reconstruction of the building built in Blender. The image on the right is obtained through the archives of the school.
I wanted to create a photorealistic recreation of the building, so I researched a bunch of texture and experimented.

The image on the left is a version of my experimentation.
I tried to use 2 different texture to achieve the photorealism, but I was not satisfied with it so I experimented with a style next.

i found the above references and wanted to use them as a guide to create a stylized look for my design. I wanted to try getting a more warm, and surrealistic vibe.

I achieved the look on the left by using the experimenting with the nodes in blender.
To composite the image, I created a sky texture on the right in blender.
